Today, we will talk about things a student must keep in mind when they begin their
education:
One of the biggest mistakes students commit is to be overconfident of their own abilities. At
times, we forget the thin line between confidence and over-confidence. Therefore, become a
confident human because over-confidence is a stepping stone to your failure.
Getting on the debate with your teacher is not wrong but crossing that line of respect while
debating is something that needs to be understood by most of the students today. Students of
the millennial are quite privileged to have technology as one of the sources to gain knowledge. So much so, they sometimes challenge their teachers for things that are not even
worth fighting. They pick up fights on silly things with the teachers. Instead of learning and
unlearning, we want to teach our teachers how and what they should know. There is
nothing wrong with it, but there is a way to convey which we majorly forget.
Never follow the crowd while choosing your career path. That’s the biggest mistake that you will commit if you don’t do what you want to and instead do what others are doing.
A lot of time, students are anxious about the aftereffect of results more than the results themselves.
Why? Maybe your other batchmates are doing well or maybe you will embarrass your parents
with your grades and many other reasons known to each one of them. Education is not about
being fearful but it’s a journey to become fearless. If we are turning out to be fearful, then
something is seriously going wrong.
Lastly, your student phase is the most exciting one in your life. Do not lose it, due to mere
ignorance. Live each moment, make new mistakes, learn them, do not look down upon
yourself if you are left behind, and motivate the ones when they are left behind. The idea is
always to walk together rather than being alone.
